Please join us in celebrating our one-year anniversary on Friday, October 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. We will have new work, refreshments, and a string quartet to sooth your mind while you take in the art. And you can make a full night of it by staying for the 8 p.m. concert by It’s a Beautiful Day, of “White Bird” fame, sponsored by Rhythm and Roots. Plaza Palomino is hosting a new concert series for the fall, with an exciting and diverse lineup. The artists include Rosie Flores, the Rhythm Room All Stars, John Coinman, the Nighthawks, Christine Lavin, It’s a Beautiful Day, the Texas Tornados, Strunz & Farah, the QTango Orchestra, the Boulder Acoustic Society, and New Riders of the Purple Sage. In addition, the Pete Swan Trio will be playing jazz on Fridays, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Luna Bella, without a cover charge.
